Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Foothill Farms® French Dressing & Seasoning Mix
- Neutral Oil
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion (chopped)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (chopped)
- 3 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 16 Hamburger Buns (toasted)
Instructions
- Heat a thin layer of neutral oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add in the onion and green bell pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften, approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Add in ground beef and break into chunks. Stir in several pinches of salt and pepper and continue stirring frequently until meat is completely browned throughout and the temperature reaches 160°F.
- Reduce the heat to low and add in the mustard, garlic powder, and prepared Foothill Farms® French Dressing & Seasoning Mix, Catalina style. Stir to thoroughly combine.
- Scoop a generous amount of the mixture onto a hamburger bun and add toppings as desired.
