Strawberry Key Lime French Toast

  1. Whisk ¾ cup Smucker’s® Squeeze™ Strawberry Fruit Spread and water in a bowl until saucy. Add strawberries and stir until strawberries are coated in the sauce. Set aside.
  2. Pour 2 cups cold milk into the bowl of an electric mixer; add Foothill Farms® Key Lime Flavored Cream Dessert Filling Mix – Naturally Flavored. Using the whisk attachment, mix on low speed for 1 minute. Turn off and scrape sides.
  3. Continue mixing on high speed for 3 to 4 minutes or until firm. Set aside.
  4. In a large flat shallow pan, whisk eggs, 2/3 cup milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon together.
  5. Preheat griddle. Coat with vegetable oil.
  6. Soak bread in egg mixture, turning once, until saturated.
  7. Place on griddle and fry on each side until golden brown.
  8. To serve, smear 1 teaspoon Smucker’s® Squeeze™ Strawberry Fruit Spread on 2 slices of French Toast. Place 1 slice on serving plate. Top with ½ cup Foothill Farms® Key Lime Flavored Cream Dessert Filling Mix – Naturally Flavored.
  9. Place the other slice of French toast on top and press down slightly. Top with additional ½ cup Foothill Farms® Key Lime Flavored Cream Dessert Filling Mix – Naturally Flavored. Portion about ¼ cup reserved strawberries in sauce on top.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar. Repeat with remaining toast.
