Pesto Alfredo Pizza
This savory vegetable and cheese pizza uses Foothill Farms® Classic Alfredo Sauce Creamy Parmesan Instant Mix to complement this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Foothill Farms® Classic Alfredo Sauce Creamy Parmesan Instant Mix
- 1/2 gal Hot Water (180°-190°F)
- 1 tbsp Basil Pesto
- 1 each Pizza Crust, Prepared, (15 in. x 10 in.)
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- 1 cup Sweet Peppers, Mini, Sliced
- 1 cup Grape Tomatoes, Halved
- 1 cup Artichokes, Chopped
- 1/4 cup Red Onion, Chopped
- As Needed Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
- As Needed Basil, Fresh, Minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Foothill Farms® Classic Alfredo Sauce Creamy Parmesan Instant Mix and water until the mix is completely dissolved and cheese is smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of the alfredo sauce and pesto until combined.
- Spread over the pizza crust.
- Top with the mozzarella cheese, peppers, tomatoes, artichokes and onion.
- Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parmesan and basil.
