Lobster Mac & Cheese

Lobster Mac & Cheese

A creamy, indulgent, comfort food with a rich lobster flavor.

Ingredients

1/2  gal hot water (180-190°F)
1 1/2  qts whole milk
1  bag Foothill Farms® Bechamel Sauce Mix (#115)
6  cups Shredded easy melt white cheddar
2  lb Chunked lobster meat
4  lbs cooked noodles-your choice (2 lb dry noodles)
1  Tbsp lobster base
3  cups Caesar Bread Crumbs-ingredients following
1  lb plain bread crumbs
1/2  cup Foothill Farms® Caesar Dressing Mix
1/2  cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place hot water and milk in a mixing bowl. With a whisk mix in béchamel mix and lobster base.
  2. Stir in shredded easy melt white cheddar, until blended in. Fold in chunked lobster meat and noodles. Place in a steam table pan.
  3. Place in a steam table pan and sprinkle with cheesy Caesar bread crumbs. Place in hot oven to toast and serve once the Mac and Cheese is 145°F.
  4. For bread crumbs: Blend plain bread crumbs, Foothill Farms® Caesar dressing mix, and parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl.
